what's going on stackers so in this, video i'm going to share with you how to, create motivational coloring pages to, sell online using canva, so welcome back to stacking profit my, name's paddy and over here we give you, the tools and resources to learn grow, and master passive income streams so, that you can live a life of freedom now, like i said in this video i'm going to, share with you how to create, motivational coloring pages that you can, sell online, now what i'm about to share with you is, just an easy way to create color impact, this can be done in lots of different, niches this can be done in motivational, inspiring or inspirational, um, valentine's day father's day and so many, different types of niches what i'm about, to share you can use the same type of, strategy to create lots of different, types of books, or coloring pages see that's another, thing what i'm about to share you can, create these and sell them individually, over on etsy you can also combine them, together to create a whole book and sell, that through kdp that's what i, personally do myself, but once you understand how to create, coloring pages like this there's just, multiple different ways to sell them now, there's a couple of different things, that i'm going to use first one being, here which is canva and then the second, one being creative fabrica why creative, fabrica where we can get lots of, different pages as we can see just here, and i can also get all of my fonts, practically everything that i need to, create my coloring books i can get here, on creative fabrica now at any little bit ahead, of myself we need to step back so let's, go back over to canva first thing i did, was put in the right dimensions that i'm, going to need most of my coloring pages, are 8.5 x 11 so that's what these, dimensions are just here if we have a, look at the file just up here, let's just give that a second 8.25 times, 11 that's the average page size for most, coloring pages so that's what i've gone, with that's what this is now we need, some mandalas or some patterns some, really nice coloring pages that we can, find over on creative fabrica i went, with this bundle i'm about to show you, that as well but we can see these are, really nice but we need patterns like, these so we can design on top of them, and the better quality designs that you, have here or the better quality patterns, the better quality book you're going to, be able to produce now let's go back, over to here because there's so many, different types to choose from now if we, scroll up i went to graphics and then, coloring books for adults and then i, just scroll through i follow the, designers that i like and i look for, pages that look good as well for this, instance i went with this designer, because he was everywhere i opened them, up started looking around and i found, this bundle now this bundle has 250, plus, coloring pages so with 250 pages if i, were to use them all i could create, around five books with that so five, books with 50 pages in each book, and as you're going to see in a second, they're really great quality i really, like this designer here on creative, fabrica, there's actually a lot of different, designers that i really like here on, creativefabrica you just have to put in, a little bit of research to find the, good ones anyway from here i went ahead, and downloaded so let's open the folder, let's go back over to canva for a second, so i went through, downloaded the bundle which is just here, and this is what we get we get 250, flower pages now we get the jpeg pdf and, png and the pptx just here but what i'm, going with is the png so i clicked on, here and now we have 10 folders with all, of these, um, pages in them now at any point you also, want to check out this bundle i will, leave a link down in the description as, well disclaimer it is an affiliate link, so if you do decide to purchase i will, make a small commission now speaking of, purchasing if we take this for a second, let's just copy that because we can't, see the price here so if we go back over, to here let's do an incognito window for, a second let's just plug that right in, there like that just so we can see how, much, the actual bundle is we can see it's, five dollars there's ninety percent off, usually fifty dollars so if you want to, get this bundle it's only going to cost, you five dollars but if you have that, membership you can download at no extra, cost this is why i love the membership, just because i can go in and download, stuff on the fly but this is only five, dollars if you want to purchase it, separately now if we go back to here we, can see all the folders within the, bundle i went with this first one i went, back over, to canva i took these so all i did was, copy, all of them the wrong one like so and, then just drag them all into here now i, made a separate folder for it just to, keep it a little bit organized, but we can see here are 25, pages and they all look really good now, from here is a little bit of a, process that i go through to start, creating my books, first i make sure i have all of the, pages that i need to create my book for, this instance we have them all in the, folder just here and then i do a little, bit of research into all the quotes that, i want to use, so for this instance it would be, motivational quotes so i do some, research i'd find all of the quotes that, i want to use and then i'd put them into, a spreadsheet a notepad or something, like that this way i'm not going back, and forth as i create each page i have, all of the coloring pages that i want to, use just here and then i do the research, into all the quotes that i want to use, as well keep them separate and then when, i go to design it's just, easier to go through that way i'm not, going back and forth trying to find a, quote trying to find a page creating the, page and then doing that over and over, again i go through i put all of the, pages that i want first like so and then, i go through once i've got the quotes, and just put them on like this very very, simple that's what i do first that's, before all of the designing now top tip, i just want to go through really quick, and that is when it comes to quotes if, you want to use quotes within your books, make sure to stay away from celebrities, tv shows movies anything where you're, blatantly taking someone else's ip, intellectual property with me when it, comes to quotes i tend to use, quotes that you would have no idea who, to give credit to yes this says brett, wilson but this is a very very generic, quote today i choose joy same with this, one which is make your dreams happen, and this one so let that load up you are, enough these are very very generic, they're not, taken from some celebrity tv show movie, or anything like that and it's really, hard to give credit to the creator with, quotes like this because, you just can't find who to give credit, to again they're generic, quotes that i use within my books, generic and also unique at the same time, i say unique because sometimes i might, take the quote and then make it myself, my point being is don't go and take, someone else's ip intellectual property, someone else's quote which you know, whose it is and then use that in your, book that's a no-go but remember it all, comes down to the research that you do, now i have three quotes here that we're, going to use in the book let's go back, over to canva because now that we have, the coloring pages and the quotes that, we want to use i'm going to share with, you how i actually go ahead and start, designing on top of these pages, and, share with you my process behind it, because that's all it is is a process so, the first one i like to do is just get, all my coloring pages that i'm going to, use all the patterns and then put them, down on each page for this instance i've, only done three, but i would go through and do multiple, different pages now once i've got the, graphic or the page on the page what i, want to do to make sure that everything, is all lined up and exactly the same on, every single page is just duplicate so i, duplicate a page so we've got it like, this and then i get the page and put it, on top of the page that's the wrong one, because that's the same so let's just, take this one, like so so i put it on top of the page, make sure to drag to the edges, then i'll drag that one as well and then, i'll just move that over i want to make, sure it's lined up and exactly the same, on every single page so now if we look, there we can see exactly the same so now, i'll take that, push behind it and then just delete this, one then i'd go through and do all of, these pages until i have around 30 to 50, pages depending on the book and, depending on the niche, then once i've got those pages all laid, out like so i go ahead and take my, quotes i get my quotes and i'll just put, them on the page like this i'm not going, to do anything fancy yet i want to get, the bulk out of the way so i can just go, through and design the lot in one go it, just makes things so much easier for me, but again now i go through once all the, pages are down i'll go through take the, quotes so this one today i choose joy so, i took that put that on the page then, i'll go to the second one take my second, quote make your dreams happen so i put, that here and then i'll take my third, quote which is you are enough and then, i'll put that on here and again i'll, keep going throughout the whole book, until i have all the quotes that i want, on all of the pages then and only then, is when i start designing, see when it comes to creating my books, or any part of any of my businesses, online i tend to batch work so i'd go, through in one batch find all the, coloring pages that i want to use, then i'd also do, all of my quotes all in one go finding, every single one that i want to use and, doing the research making sure i can, actually use those quotes that is batch, working so i'll batch all my quotes, together and then i'll batch, duplicating all these pages and adding, new pages and making it look good and, then i'll batch put in the quotes on the, front like so and then i'll batch, designing them so if you take anything, away from this start batching your work, it makes things so much easier anyway, here we are with one of the quotes that, i did so if we go back to here we can, say we can see, today i choose joy now what i've gone, ahead and done is created it into a, coloring page and it looks pretty good, now top tip when it comes to designing, anything, whether it's coloring pages your covers, for books or just anything in general a, good rule to live by is using one two, three fonts nothing more because if you, use too many fonts it doesn't tend to, look good and you want fonts that, complement each other so i still don't, really know all the names of these fonts, or all the, styles of these fonts so i call this one, like a bold so i like to have a bold and, then something fancy hand written so, that's what this joy is and then, together they look pretty good now to, get this effect once you have your, text on the page let's just click on, there, let's click that, let's just do this move that up to get, this this style all you want to do is, choose effects then you want to go to, splice just here we can play around with, the thickness and i'm going to talk, about that in a second anyway but then, we want the offset to zero and the, direction zero as well then if we change, the color here to white we have a font, which can be colored in now this can be, done with any type of font you can use, the free ones here in canva or ones that, you purchase yourself now again that's, where the membership for creative fabric, up comes into play because if we go to, here to fonts i believe there's over 79, 000 different fonts don't hold me to, that oh yeah i was right there's now 80, 000 different types of fonts now with my, membership i can come in download any, type of font that i want and then i can, turn that into a coloring book so see, this font i could go in download this, with my membership add it into canva, that's only doable if you have a canva, pro account if you want to try out a 30, day free trial for canva pro there is, also a link down in the description, but getting my fonts from here i can, download upload them here into canva and, then i can create my designs with those, fonts and turn any font that i choose to, into a coloring in font so that's how i, get that, very very simple stuff and again we have, two different styles so this font is ask, y, this one is, arcados or something like that both of, these fonts are from creative fabrica, but we can see it looks pretty good now, one thing i do tend to do is play around, with the line thickness just here, because if we have it like that that's, not going to really look too good if we, take this one do the same on here let's, just play around making it look crap so, if we do that and then we choose, joy or i choose let's change that let's, like move that down, something like that just doesn't look, good so what i tend to use or tend to do, is get the thickness and try and get, that thickness to match up with the, lines on the page so let's just go back, a few steps let's do this one more time, ta-da there we go so right here that, line thickness isn't very thick i don't, want it very thick because the lines on, this page aren't very thick that's where, congruency comes into play you want to, keep all of your pages congruent and by, choosing the thickness and playing, around with it to the thickness on the, page just makes it look a lot better but, that's the top tip anyway just two, different types of fonts and just make, sure that they look good that comes, after designing a lot of things the more, you design the better you will get my, designs today are a lot better than what, they were back a few years ago now, that's the first one very very simple, steps two different fonts, playing around with the thickness to, make it look good that was the first, page that i did the second one was for, this one make your dreams happen so with, this one i just went with the one font, remember one to three fonts makes your, books look good this one i just went, with that because most people can do, that and it looks kind of good not the, best but still acceptable then the third, one i went with this you are enough so, with this that first font is ask why, that second font, is, after party solid and then this third, font is amarillo, now with this i've gone around and just, played with it with this one i've got a, little drop shadow behind it so if we do, this push that back let's take that out, this is what it looked like before now, you can do drop shadows here on canva, but you can't layer effects so we can't, use the splice along with the shadow so, the way to get around that is to, duplicate we're going to go to effects, turn that off i don't want it pure black, because if we look at this background, color on the pattern it's kind of gray, so that's what i'm going to go with, remember congruency let's go with that, but now all i do is put that on top then, just move that over ever so slightly, push behind, and now we have a drop shadow and this, one looks pretty good remember one to, three different fonts, and it looks good now remember you can, do this in multiple different niches, inspirational motivational you could do, valentine's day mother's day father's, day with mother's day you could have, some really nice, mum quotes within the book there's so, many different ideas that you can run, with and use this type of style coloring, book to create your books now another, thing that i do actually like to do is, put other things on the page to actually, design it even more and make it look, better now with me personally i've, downloaded downloaded so much stuff from, creative fabrica and i have lots of, different folders as you can see just, here now with me what i can do is go, into these misc folders right here misc, five misc four, i have lots of different ones with just, lots of different types of graphics, coloring in graphics and again i got, these all from creative fabrica but what, i can do is find these misc ones there's, 92 items in there let's try and find a, bigger one so misc here's 195, in this folder now through here, today i choose joy so i try and think of, things related to joy and then i can use, that kind of stuff within my book so for, this instance i could use something like, flowers or maybe this, i could maybe turn that a little bit, bigger, and i could possibly, have that somewhere on the page, maybe i could have that, over here like so and if we look another, top tip if you're going to put graphics, on top of a coloring page like this a, pre-made one make sure the line, thickness matches up as well so on this, page the line thickness isn't very thick, but neither is this graphic so now if we, move that to there, we can see it kind of merges in with the, page that's what you want so let's take, a different one because that doesn't, quite fit so we could just take this, that's a little bit thicker so that's, what i want on about so that doesn't, really look good on the page because, it's not congruent with that back page, if we take something like this, that's still pretty big so ideally this, one would actually work better but i'm, not going to put that on there for this, time but again that is something that i, would do i would do that not on every, single page but maybe a few different, ones that actually might go better on, this you are enough flowers doesn't, really go with that but we can see this, graphic matches up with the line, thickness on this page so that is, something that i could potentially use, but again that's how simple it can be, for creating coloring pages and, it's pretty pretty simple but you still, want to design on top of these pages and, that's where the font combinations and, actually designing a quote comes into, play so with this one i didn't put much, effort into it that's just one font, doesn't look amazing but when you start, putting a little bit more time into, actually designing, you can find font combinations that look, good and then just mess around playing, around with the pages making it look, good because too many people don't do, that they just plop words on a page, mainly like this where it looks okay but, if you put that little bit more time and, effort into actually designing on top of, the page you're going to see a lot, better results but again that's how, simple it can be first of all you need, somewhere to create your pages we're, using canva and then we found, this bundle just here so i added all the, pages then i went through and found all, of the quotes that i want to use and, then i put them on the page like so and, then once all of that is done i start, going through the whole book, designing designing all the different, pages and again
