hey everyone and welcome to the club, today i'm gonna be showing you how to, draw mr potato head from toy story, [Music], let's get started in the center of page, with the eyes so we're gonna move over, to the left side and draw on a large, oval starting from the very top, round it out down towards the bottom, and then back up towards the top now, leave a small gap in the center and draw, the same thing on the right so let's, line up the top of the opal, curve down towards the bottom, [Music], and just pull that back up towards the, top, now about halfway down the eye i want to, draw on the eyelid starting left and, draw curve coming up, and then back down, [Music], now we want to tuck two smaller half, ovals underneath the eyelid for the, pupil so we start on the left side, curve down, and then up and we'll do the same thing, on the right side, let's add a small highlight circle along, the top left, so a little circle at the top corners, i'm going to fill the outside of the, pupil in black, [Music], now let's add the nose in between the, eyes so we start with a curve from left, to right we're just going to come up, towards the inside of the eye, on the left, and then the right side now we're going, to flare out the nostrils and come back, in, so on the left we're going to curve out, round out the nostril and then pull that, into right about there do the same thing, on the right curving out, rounding out the nostril and then, pulling that in now let's draw on the, tip of the nose i want to draw a little, bit of an overlap so we step up draw, almost like a half circle coming down, and back up on the right, now we want to tuck the mustache in, underneath the nose so underneath the, left nostril i'm going to curve out, and then down, do the same thing on the right side, now let's connect these two points with, the curve i'm gonna go up in the middle, and then back down on the right, now let's tuck the mouth in underneath, the mustache we're gonna start on the, left side start with a curve coming down, [Music], across and then up on the right let's, add the upper lip so we step down just, follow the same curve of the mustache, going across from left, to right, now we move all the way up to the top, and draw the edge of the hat so we start, on the left side we draw a curve that, comes down, and then back up on the right side now, from the ends you want to curve this up, and out, it's going to flare the edge of the hat, going up, now from here i'm going to curve down, and in and then blend to a curve along, the center, so we'll start on the left come in, and then down, do the same thing on the right side, now we're going to connect these two, points with a curve just coming down, and then up, let's add the top of the hat on the left, side we draw almost like a half circle, going up, and then down let's add that little, strap that goes across from the inside, of the brim and curve across, and then back down, [Music], now let's draw on the eyebrows the, eyebrow on the left we're just going to, drop down on top of the eye so we step, out and curve in and then up let's round, up the end of the eyebrow so just, pulling that back in, and we're going to follow that same, curve along the top, let's go ahead and fill that in black, [Music], now the eyebrow on the right we're going, to raise up and curve in the opposite, direction so we start just underneath, the hat brim, curve out, and then down, let's round up the ends of the eyebrow, pulling them back in then we'll follow, that same curve, along the bottom, and then we'll fill that in black as, well, now that we complete the face let's draw, on the sides of the body we start from, the bottom corner of the hat room on the, left we're going to curve out, and then just pull that down beside the, eye, do the same thing on the right side, coming down to the same height, [Music], now the lower part of the body is a, little bit larger so we're going to, curve this back out and then round out, the bottom of the chin, starting on the left we're going to, blend into a curve going out towards the, cheek and then around the corner of the, mustache in towards the center let's go, to the right side and do the same, i'm going to curve going out, we'll round out the cheek, come down and in towards the middle, we're just going to finish off the, bottom, by connecting those two points, now we're going to move back up and draw, on the two large ears so they're almost, like two large almost just shoved into, the side of the head so we start on the, left side here we'll start with the, curve going up and out, rounding out the ear now we're going to, come down towards the bottom, and then just pull that up and in let's, take that and flip it over on the right, so let's line up the top of the ear, start by curving up, rounding out the oval, down towards the bottom and then in, let's add some detail to the ear so, about halfway down the ear on the inside, we draw a c, leaving a gap on the inside, now from here on the top we're just, going to follow that same curve of the, year going around, and then down, in the bottom we're going to go in the, opposite direction coming down, and then up do the same thing on the, right start with a backwards c, go to the top curb the inside edge of, the ear, [Music], and then the lower edge, [Music], now let's move back down and draw on the, feet we're gonna leave a gap in the, center on the left and right side we, draw a straight line coming down now, let's round out the bottom of the feet, so from the heel to toe i'm going to, curve down, and then back up, and make sure that they're the same, length, from the toe it's going to curve up and, in behind the body, [Music], at the bottom of the feet we're just, going to thicken up the sole so taking, this curve we're going to step up i'm, just going to follow that all the way in, towards the inside of the leg, let's add a little bit of detail to the, shoe so from the so we're going to step, up we're going to curve in and then down, we're going to step up draw that same, curve, and we do that one more time stepping in, and then down do the same thing on the, right side, [Music], now on the sides of the bottom we're, going to draw the arms curved around on, the hips so we start on the left side we, start with the curve going out, now we're just going to pull that, in, now from here we're going to curve in, the opposite direction and come down, towards the wrist down to right there, let's do the same thing on the right we, line this up, out, and then in, we'll round it out and pull it in, towards the side of the body, now let's draw the outside of the arm, we'll follow that same curve we're going, to step up, just leave an even space gap, all the way around, and as we come in we're just going to, pull this down, down to right there we're going to, connect these two points with a curve, coming down and then back up let's do, the same thing on the right, [Music], just hook that down at the end, and connect those two points with a, curve, let's add the edge of the cuff, so from the outside of the wrist we're, going to curl out, round at the bottom and then in behind, the body, [Music], now let's add in the hands at the bottom, of the cuff i'm gonna curve out and then, down i'm gonna curve up towards the tip, of the finger, right about there let's round out the, tip of the finger, coming back around i'm just going to, pull this back in, and then up, let's add two more fingers you step down, and hook this in and up, and then again one final time we're just, going to pull this up in behind the body, let's do the same thing on the right, starting from the outside of the cuff, curve out, and then in, and then, up the first finger, round up the finger, come back down, and we're just going to hook that back, up let's add two more fingers at the, bottom we're going to curve in, and up, and then the third finger we're going to, pull up in behind the body, we're gonna show a little bit of the, second finger in between the finger and, the palm so from the side we're gonna, curve up and then down, do the same thing on the
