what's up everybody welcome back to, another drawing tutorial so today we're, going to be doing a fairy tale drawing, haven't done fairy tale, in a long time so but this request has, been coming out a lot so, i thought i'd give it a go so it's uh, natsu's dragon form, half dragon form right so, landscape orientation page use a pencil, and hit pause if i go too, fast all that good stuff and take your, time try have fun, right so take it slow, it's kind of complicated so to fit in, his arm i've moved his head sort of down, on the left hand side so kind of split, your page in half his head is down here, right so, eyes right so just down here, so we're going to start with a tick kind, of for, his eyebrow doesn't really have an, eyebrow, uh kind of, okay so let's go, let us go so curve it up, take it up more more like and, let's go back this way, like that right and then we'll bring it, down, like so around the front, back up into here, and thicken it up a little bit if you, wanted, you might have a little bump for like a, bit of an eyebrow coming up this way but, like it's, on the dragon side there doesn't seem to, be much, in the way of, eyebrows and then his iris so it's like, a long oval, just there and people is there people, the red eyes, but we'll give my people anyway so just, like here, so i go over and do the other eye, so similar sort of thing except this is, like a kind of a normal eye so, it goes up this is more of an eyebrow i, guess just there, and then would bring this now this side, of his eye is covered a lot with hair, so don't worry too much if, you know it doesn't sort of, match up i guess because this is going, to be covered really, right so this side is going to be, covered mostly, with hair along here but you just want, to get them roughly even, and his eyebrow goes straight back that, way, and you can put a section of pink it's a, color, just here if you wanted no eyebrow on, this side just like a sort of a dragon, sort of bulge just there and then his, iris, so and pupil, along just in there, might have some stress lines and stuff, around his eye, and then nostrils so just like a nostril, down here, so then he's got sort of a smiling sort, of mouth right so it kind of starts, underneath the inside of his eye here, so we've got like a line there like a, line, there oops like here sorry just under, the inside of his eye that line's, wrong so the smile starts just, inside his eyes here, right and then we'll bring it down, down around, it's like a sort of a, grimace really he's like creating his, teeth, like so and then we go, down the back underneath, and around, kind of like that and then we got to put, teeth inside so to make it look more, like a bit of a shadow inside here, and then like teeth coming across here, and maybe like a bit of a line on top, just first top lip, and the line on the bottom first bottom, so his chin so just along the bottom, here, like so and then bring it up the side, of his face just like so, and then same on the other side, outside his face, like so, i think there might be like some, hatching or something on his nose just, like, that kind of thing just there, right so up here he's got like scales, and his hair seems to be kind of burnt, away and becoming a horn, so we've got like some small hair spikes, here, like this, one two three and then this comes down, sort of this way maybe another one, and then this comes down across the, front of his, face just there like a fringe, area and this comes back up down, back up to there put them, here look like so, to there and then he's got some coming, down from his eye, so come down here, and then like a big hair spike like here, let me go up into there, and of course you can raise any lines, you shouldn't see, underneath his hair now, all right so we just got more hair, spikes and stuff coming out, around here so, we start to go, out this way then, this and then maybe like a big one, like so real big hair, like this, keep going all the way, here, like so right so you can add sort of, some texture lines and hair lines and, things onto these spikes, if you want and like some of these might, go in, a bit further and there seems to be like, one in the middle here, like here going up this direction, sticking up there one sticking up here, and like some sort of devil, sort of ones some ones that are kind of, becoming scales or something, just going up this way, like that right so then that horn, right so it kind of grows out of his, head so it comes out from here, it comes up this direction, okay, real tall about up to there and then, spiky on the top and then it comes back, down, and into there there you go like some, more, hair, just down here, and what we can see of his ears so kind, of, low down kind of in line with his nose, comes up here, another one comes up there, and yeah maybe like a couple more hair, spikes, like so right so then, he's got like all these dragon scales, on his face so you can like start adding, basically those, coming around his face, so you're not drawing every scale you're, just, kind of doing these crisscross sorts of, lines, from the texture on his face, sort of making it look kind of like, boxes or something, you know, sort of suggesting it rather than, drawing everything in, so more or less, that's the kind of stuff you're going, for on his face and then, sort of honest horns you can add sort of, scales, kind of more like sort of like the hair, sort of scale section, here like that and just like a couple of, layers of that, traveling up like so, okay, basically like that right so, his arm is like sticking out here so so, he's got, he's got a scarf on i guess we'll do the, scarf first so, coming out from like around his head, he's got that sort of scarf that he, wears, might be some layers to us, okay so the inside of this, around underneath his neck, just in there, so like i guess in the so this is like a, drawing from the manga because we, couldn't really find a good one, from the anime so like i think in the, anime, he's like it's scarfacing around his, neck it's like around his waist or, something, but, the pictures in the anime weren't, actually that good which was surprising, so just these crisscross lines now on, the scarf, like so and so then, his torn sort of clothing so we got like, these, rifts and torn, sort of zigzag lines, like here and it comes out, so it's just not scraggly sort of, clothing, like that and, so sort of comes past his knee, down to here another like tear, now you can do these tears any way you, want it doesn't have to be, sort of exactly like mine you're just, sort of, sort of winging it kind of making it up, as you go you know just you want it to, be sort of, just squiggly and sort of ripped and, torn it looks like he's got an, armband or something, wrapped around his arm here it goes, around there, and then something there, yeah so something there and then just, like, like maybe his armpits something goes, down there, four lines and stuff going towards his, arm, like another hole in his clothing here, four lines going off this way, and then his, so his knee, come out around here, down and then down that way so that's, like his knee that he's leaning on, the side of that knee folds down this, way, so his shoulder comes out here, a little big line, that's there and his tricep comes off, like so, and then the other side of your shoulder, just in like here, let's see in here and then like, it's a bicep action going on there and, then he's got that tattoo on his, shoulder here, so it's kind of like bird's head, like so back to his scarf, can't see all of it he screws around, back up to there, and then i think he's got like some more, ripped and torn clothing, going up this way, like that and then, some more stuff happening down here, clothing there and, like some fold lines for his, clothing down here and maybe like some, abs, abdominal muscles, down in there somewhere right so this, other arm then, up here, comes out here down like so, and then we go down like this so this is, his forearm, and then that comes out just on top just, here, like so and then we got like a knuckle, coming down bump, and then comes down like so then the, next finger, take your time with hands they're tricky, comes down here, and he's got a claws on top of each, finger, so then the next finger bumps down, with one two yeah, this one comes down here, you can kind of see this claw coming, down that way, and another pointy claw here, like so and this finger will go back, this way somewhere back towards his, thumb, like so nice thomas here, around there then i think we can see, like a claw, coming down in here somewhere from the, other side of his hand, and there could be like some knuckle, bumps and things, but mostly scales right so, lots of scales similar to what's on the, horn now, not the ones on his face, all up, right and some like lines coming down, his hand maybe, but like there's not a lot of detail in, this, like there's no sort of pattern on this, one is like sort of just, you making it kind of just scary, okay right so his wing so he's got like, the big, branching kind of wing goes up real tall, off my face page couldn't fit the whole, thing in so, just do your best fit as much as you can, if you more room of course, feel free to fit more in like a line, going up it here, another sort of muscle line on it there, and then the bottom of that, comes out here it's kind of, it's not like all together or anything, it's kind of like, ripped and it's got like scraggly bits, in it and stuff, like that and you can have, some veins sort of coming down every now, and then, goes real thin, and then it comes up around, like this and there's some texture lines, because it's a manga drawing, i tried to do the anime one but it's, it's all, because of the scene there's all this, heat and mist and stuff, so it's it's not really clear his form, you can't really see the lines, so i went with the manga and, and then, we got some more skills and the scales, on his wing are more like the scales, that are on his face kind of box like, sort of scales like like this, sort of more round, sort of things, so, so, right so the only thing left to do is, the scarf on this side, goes up like so and then, up the back of his face like so, and then some spiking lines just here, and then that scarf has some more, texture lines and stuff on it, just here like running up the sort of, back of it like and on the side, so like bumping sort of lines there, like so, and then some more here, like so, right so i think that that's the best i, can do, and that is how to draw natsu in his, half dragon form, hope was also guys thanks for watching,
