hey everyone today we're gonna draw a, nascar yeah race car we hope you're, gonna follow along with us you need, something to draw with we like using, markers but you could use whatever you, have at home we like using markers, because then we don't spend any time, erasing yeah what else do they need some, paper and something to come with yeah, all right let's start yeah yeah we're, gonna draw with our paper horizontal so, that we have more room to draw a big car, we're first gonna draw the race track or, the ground we're gonna start here we're, gonna draw a line that goes all the way, across, our paper, it's kind of wobbly you could use a, ruler if you want you could also use a, circle template for the wheels but we're, going to draw a freehand just for fun, let's draw the wheels next we're going, to draw a wheel about this big, for the front wheel and another wheel, the same size back here for the back, wheel oh i got a little bit bigger, that's okay, monster truck monster truck wheels yeah, we should draw them smaller that's okay, now let's try the the wheel well we drew, the tire now let's draw the wheel we're, gonna draw the rim inside of our, tire do the same thing back here smaller, circle, now inside let's draw another circle or, a dot, really small and we can color it in, next we're going to draw the wheel wells, we're going to draw an upside down u, that goes over our wheel like this and, then comes back down and we're going to, get really close to the ground, since our nascar is low to the ground, there we go now we're going to do the, same thing back here on this one we're, going to draw an upside down u go over, and back down, now we can draw a line i'm going to turn, my paper like this i'm going to connect, the front to the back wheel, good job yeah sometimes that makes it, easier to turn our paper sideways let's, also draw the front of our nascar we'll, go forward quite a let's go even further, then back here behind our car we're, going to draw a diagonal line that comes, up this way, all right now let's draw the outside, shape of our car we're going to draw a, vertical line going up and tip back a, little bit, then we're going to draw this cool curve, we're going to go over the wheel like, this and we're going to come back, and we're gonna go over the back wheel, and then stop so we're gonna go all the, way back here we'll curve up over the, wheel and then we'll come straight back, to about here, yes good job you're doing such a great, job how old are you 10 but i'm almost, 11., you're doing a great job and it's okay, that our two drawings look a little, different right they're both turning out, awesome and it's okay if your drawings, look different too because the most, important thing is to have fun and to, practice practice all right let's keep, going yeah behind our front wheel we're, gonna draw a little point right here, that's for the front of our or the, windshield now we're gonna draw a, diagonal line that comes back like this, and then we're going to draw a curve, that comes back further, and, almost past, i'm even going to go a little further go, past, yes so that line is right, lined up with the back of our back wheel, now we're going to connect these two, lines, with a diagonal line going up, now we're going to draw the top of our, nascar we're going to draw another line, that comes up, it's going to follow this shape we're, going to go all the way back like this, and we're going to come back further, and then we're going to stop, i love the shape of your car your nascar, is looking awesome next we're going to, draw the back, of our car or the deck we're going to, draw a line coming back further and we, don't want to go past this line so we, want to stop before we get to the end, then we're going to draw a line coming, down a diagonal line, then we're going to draw a little bumper, and then connect, it yeah we did it now we got the general, shape but we need to add a few more, details to make it look even better yeah, so let's first draw we're going to draw, a pillar back here we're going to draw, two lines one here and then one coming, back so they kind of get whiter towards, the bottom, then we're going to draw another one a, smaller one that's diagonal, and we're going to draw, another one in front of it but right, here at the end we leave a little space, and then draw a line coming forward, there we go, now over here let's draw a small short, line, let's also draw our windshield we're, going to draw a short line here and then, we're going to go all the way down to, the bottom it's so tiny it's really, small, we also need to draw the back glass, right here we'll draw a short line in, just like we did on the front, and then we're going to draw another, line right down the middle, and then we'll connect it to, the deck on the back hadley what should, we draw next headlights headlights yeah, we need headlights and also the grille, but did you know that the headlights are, actually stickers no, just like lightning mcqueen i didn't, know that yeah it's to make the car, lighter, all right so let's draw those on we're, just going to draw the shape we'll first, draw a line, right here it's kind of going up towards, the back, then let's draw a diagonal line in front, a diagonal line in back, and then connect the bottom, now let's also draw the grill or the, front of our car yeah the front mouth on, our nascar where it cooks hot dogs yeah, it doesn't well yeah i guess like a, barbecue grill let's draw a little line, down and then forward, all right then we can draw a couple, lines on front, let's also draw a shape down here, we're going to draw another line similar, to the headlight and then we can draw a, diagonal line going up on the front and, also on the back, and then let's connect those at the top, let's also draw the spoiler back here, we're going to draw a diagonal line, going up, a short line back and then a diagonal, line back down, all right let's also draw the tail, lights we'll draw another line coming, in, a short line down and then forward, all right hadley we did it we finished, drawing our nascar now we just drew the, general shape of our race car and that's, so that you can draw whatever stickers, or details you want to add to your, nascar there's all different kinds, there's all different colors there's, different numbers this would be a lot of, fun there's cupcake stickers not really, so you guys can color your race car any, way you want now we are going to fast, forward this part so at the end if you, do want to match our same coloring you, can pause the video all right you ready, to fast forward yeah yeah, hadley give me five you did such a great, job on coloring your nascar it looks so, awesome this is your first race car, drawing ever well first car drawing too, yeah did you have fun yeah it was my, first favorite card, i'm glad and we added all kinds of, stickers which some of these are my, favorite like art for kids hub and my, food sticker, i like that one too you guys can match, the same coloring or color your nascar's, any way you want we hope you had a lot, of
