if there's one character in the five, nights at freddy's universe that creeps, me out the most it's nightmare freddy i, just love the design and details of this, character so much that today i'm going, to show you my techniques on how i draw, ink and color nightmare freddy for five, nights at freddy's, let's begin today's lesson with a rough, sketch of the character's pose we'll, start the very top and sketch out a, circle it's going all the way around now, this perk, now this circle doesn't have to be, perfect because we'll eventually erase, this out, and sketch an oval along the bottom for, the muzzle, and we'll add in the lower jaw curving, this out and down toward the left, and right side, and we'll close off the bottom with a, curve, let's add two circles along the top of, the head for the ears, now we tilt the head forward so we see, the top edge of the hat start with the, curve coming down and up towards the, ears, go across the back, now to block out the top of the hat, start with the curve along the bottom, go up along the side i'm just taping, this out so it gets wider along the top, and we'll add an oval on the top of the, head, now from here we're just going to block, in the eyes leaving a gap in the center, let's curve this up, and down on the left, and right side, and then in the center of the muzzle, we'll sketch a small oval, let's move down and add the center spine, starting underneath the head just going, to curve the body out towards the left, and then down, and from here it's going to curve this, down towards the middle going up towards, the hips, let's round out the side of the body, just tucking this up underneath the head, let's separate the lower torso with a, curve coming down and then up, step up and draw that again, i'm going to work our way down towards, the bottom of the feet let's start from, the left side sketch a straight line, coming down towards the knee, and the same thing on the right, and we'll add a circle along the bottom, from the center of the knee angle the, leg coming down towards the ankle, we'll sketch out another circle, let's round out the bottom of the feet, starting from the bottom of the circle, goes down and up towards the outside, and then from the outside of the foot, we'll curl this up, just bring that down along the left side, of that circle, and do the same thing over on the right, let's go back up to the knees and draw a, straight angle line going across that, circle, down towards the inside, now going back up to the hip it's going, to round out the leg and pull that down, towards that line, let's go to the center of the body for, the leg coming down and then out, now we're going to go to the bottom of, that circle draw a straight line going, across, from the outside for the leg going out, and then in towards the ankle, go to the inside occur in the opposite, direction, now to move back up and pose out the, left arm starting from the top of the, body angle the arm going up and out, towards the elbow, sketch a circle on the end, then from the center of the elbow angle, the arm coming down and out towards the, wrist, sketch out another circle, let's go over towards the right side, angle the arm coming down and out, towards the elbow, sketch another circle, now with the right arm i'm going to pull, the hand forward so it looks like it's, reaching out so from the center of the, elbow start with a straight angle line, coming down towards the wrist, draw a straight angled line going across, the top, now i'm going to draw a square come down, the sides, and we'll close off the bottom, now just like we did with the knees, we're going to separate the top of the, arm start with a straight angle line, going across the inside of the elbow, round up the top of the arm coming in, towards the head, from the bottom coming down and then in, that bottom point of the arm angle is up, and out toward the outside of the, forearm, around the side coming in towards the, outside of the wrist, and curve the inside, let's go over towards the right side, starting from the top of the elbow start, with a straight angle line, round up the arm coming in towards the, head, and we'll round out the bottom, and we'll tuck the forearm in behind the, hand come down and in, round out the outside, let's go back and add some shape to the, hand start from the bottom of the wrist, let's start with a straight line going, across, and down the sides, and close off the bottom to create a, rectangle, now with the rectangle place let's add, in the fingers let's start from the, bottom right corner start with the thumb, coming around and then in, and we'll add a claw just tapering that, back towards the hand, let's go back to that same point we're, going to curve the first finger coming, down and up, then the claw coming down, all the way up towards the, top and bend that down on the inside, now to add three more fingers start from, the side, for the second finger going down, and pull that back up, let's do that again, now i'm going to layer the fourth finger, in behind and step up, come around just pull that in so we see, the tip in between, taper that back in, let's add the fingers on the right side, start from this point and curl the thumb, going around, keeping that back and in towards the, palm, now layer the first finger on top of the, hand start with an angle line coming, across, go up and out, and then round out the top, let's leave the gap and do that again, coming in, out, and round out the top, from the base of the hand, down out towards the third finger, round this out and pull this in, taper that back out, and we'll add one more finger, now i'm going to go back and add some, detail to the head let's start on the, left side it's going to bump out the, cheek and pull that into the side of the, muscle, and do the same thing on the right, now you want to separate the jaw from, the head so we'll start over on the left, side start with the curve coming down, back up on the right side, let's add a bump along the bottom of the, chin going down, and then up, let's trace the lower jaw along the, inside start from this top point goes, down and in, it's going to round out the bottom, coming up towards the right, let's connect the top of the head to the, jaw with two straight lines coming down, the middle, we're also going to separate the top of, the body and the lower torso so from the, hips it's going to curve the back going, up, and then back down, and we'll add the spine in the center, with two straight lines, let's go back up to the top and add two, circles for the eyes, and a smaller circle right in the center, now i'm going to give our character a, fierce expression starting from the, inside of the eye just going to fold the, brow coming in and up, and then from the inside curve up, and then out across the top of the eye, once we're happy with the general pose, of our character we're going to go back, in with an ultra fine point marker and, start adding some details and refining, the shape let's start with the brow, i'm just going to add a few cracks along, the way, going out towards the side, from here just moving down and adding, some shape and detail to the nose coming, down towards the center point, that highlight oval on the top, and we'll fill the outside of the nose, just adding some cracks along the, outside of the eye, you go back and just fill in the outside, of the eye going around the iris and, people, now adding some cracks across the bottom, of the muzzle, just add that seam in the center of the, face, just round up the side of the cheeks, coming down, i'll open up the head on the left side, and layering the hat on top, just adding a thick brim across the edge, and separate the ears from the head, i'm just adding a few loose wires across, the top of the hat, now we move down and start adding the, teeth along the top starting from the, center and just working our way out, and as you get to the outside we're just, going to bend these in, a little bit smaller on the end, moving down we're just going to add some, cracks across the bottom of the jaw, we'll add in the bottom row teeth, again starting from the center, i'm just going to draw the back side of, the jaw going in behind the teeth, then we'll fill the gaps in between the, teeth and black, now from here it's going to move down, and start working on the body starting, with the bow tie, and again just adding some cracks across, the side of the body, move down, and break up the bottom edge, a couple buttons in the center, and move down and start detailing out, lower torso, add some texture to that center spine, and we'll draw the back side lower torso, going in behind, and across towards the right now let's, fill the bottom area in black, we're also going to bring the back side, of the upper body down, just tucking that in behind, and we'll fill that area in black, now we're just going to go around to add, some few spots across the body, just in random areas, i'm putting those in black, working our way across the top of the, left leg, and a few cracks along the way, now you can see that i'm just using the, sketch line as a guide, adding some more detail going around, let's fill that top area in black, connect the body to the legs, also give some nice contrast in between, we're also going to add a few spots and, holes across the legs, i'm just going to fill in some of those, gaps, and add some holes across the legs, let's connect the upper and lower legs, with some mechanics, and pull the back side in black, we're just separating out the toes, across the bottom of the foot, inside the ankles, now i'm going to repeat that process, across the arms, just breaking up the outside edge, and fill those gaps in between, now you want to separate out each of the, fingers, starting with the thumb let's create, these little sections going across, and down towards the clock, and on the right side we're going to, start with the thumb, and add in the sections, and once we've finished inking in our, character we'll go back and erase our, sketch lines underneath, now that we have a clean drawing i'm, going to go back and add a few more, cracks across the body and the head, once we're happy with the detail of our, drawing it's time to start adding some, colors let's start with the brown across, the head and body, just gonna work our way around the, muzzle and the eyes, now work our way across the arms, and fill in the hands excluding the, claws, now we're just going to fill in the ears, and the muzzle with this golden brown, also using that same color across that, patch in the center of the body, and go around the bow tie, and also going around those buttons in, the center, let's grab a medium gray and fill those, mechanics inside the body, i'll fill in the claws and the teeth, with a slightly lighter gray, and then with our dark gray we'll fill, the front edge of the hat, lightly shading the top, and darken up the left side, that's going to fade that out about, halfway to create a highlight, and then blend into a dark shade on the, right, let's darken up the top of the bow tie, and then we'll fade that down, i want to give our character a little, bit of shape so we're going to add a, darker brown shadow along the inside and, bottom of the body, just fade that across, adding a rough shadow to the hands, and around the right side of the head, and as we get near the end we'll smooth, out our shadows and always be sure to, sign your artwork and that's pretty much, it that's how we draw and color, nightmare freddy from five nights at, freddy's i hope you enjoyed today's, lesson if you did please make sure you, subscribe because i'm posting new, lessons every single day you can also, drop your request in the comments below, i want to thank you for watching and, i'll see you again soon

I know majority of the FNAF lore and I’m a fan of the franchise. I recently watched the Nightmare on Elm Street films. Those of you who think Fazbear can beat Freddy Krueger give me your reasons and I will do my best to shoot down the argument
